Markets: As Oil goes, so goes the Markets right now. Oil went up, and Markets went down last week. But not as reactive as it has been earlier this year.
S&P roller coaster last week: Holiday, Down, Down, Down, and Up a lot.
Fed Balance Sheet: $6.74 Trillion.
Holiday: Markets were closed last Monday, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.
Housing: Existing Home Sales dropped -2.0% in August, and were down -1.2% Y/Y.
Inflation: The PPI (Wholesale Inflation) rose from 4.7% in July’s report, up to 5.4% Y/Y in the August report. The CPI (Consumer Inflation) remained at 3.4% Y/Y.
Metals: Gold finished the week at $4,391. Silver remained at $63.
National Debt: $40.04 Trillion.

THIS WEEK:
Focus of the week: The Fed Meeting. This will be the sixth (out of eight) Fed Meeting of the year. Their meeting starts tomorrow and ends Wednesday. Expectations are they will raise their interest rate ¼ point.
Calendar: Fed Meeting Announcement, Fed Chair Press Conference (Wed); the PPI, Housing Starts (Thu); and Industrial Production (Fri).
