Markets: Chip sell off led to a very difficult day last Friday.
S&P roller coaster last week: Up, Up, Down a lot, Up, and Down really significantly.
Fed Balance Sheet: $6.711 Trillion. Up $7 Billion last week.
ISM: The Institute for Supply Management’s Manufacturing index rose from 52.7 up to 54.0 (beating expectations). Manufacturing represents 30% of the U.S. economy. Their Services index rose from 53.6 up to 54.5 (also beating expectations). A number below 50 implies a contraction, while a number above 50 implies an expansion.
Jobs: The May jobs number came in at 120,000 new jobs (beating the 85,000 expectation).
Metals: Gold finished the week at $4,354. Silver finished the week at $68.
National Debt: $39.345 Trillion.
Unemployment: The U3 Unemployment rate remained at 4.3%.

THIS WEEK:
Focus of the week: Inflation. The Consumer Price Index (consumer Inflation) is expected to rise from +3.8% up to +4.2%. The Producer Price Index (wholesale Inflation) is expected to move from +6.0% up to +6.5%.
Calendar: April’s Trade Deficit, Existing Home Sales (Tue); May’s CPI (Wed); and May’s PPI (Thu).
