LAST WEEK:
Markets: Iran, Trump, the Strait of Hormuz, Oil. Rinse and repeat. Markets were mixed last week.
S&P roller coaster last week: Down, Down significantly, Down a touch, Flat, and Flat.
Durable Goods Orders: Coming off of a +7.9% April number, Durable Good Orders decreased -4.5% in May. DGOs were down -3.5% Y/Y.
Fed Balance Sheet: It remained at $6.736 Trillion.
GDP: In the final read for Q1, GDP was revised upward from +1.6% up to +2.1%.
Greenspan: Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan passed away a week ago. He was 100. The 13th Chair, Greenspan served in that role from 1987 to 2006. He served four U.S. Presidents.
Housing: Starts were down -15.4% in May, and were down -8.7% Y/Y.
Inflation: As expected, the PCE was up +0.4% in May. The PCE, the Federal Reserve’s focus metric for Inflation, was moved higher to +4.1% Y/Y.
Metals: Gold finished the week at $4,096. Silver finished the week at $59.
National Debt: $39.312 Trillion.

Focus of the week: Jobs & Unemployment. The July 4th Stock Market Holiday will be a day early on Friday, July 3rd. As a result, the Jobs & Unemployment numbers will come out on Thursday. Expectations are for
