Fed Minutes: The vote to lower rates a ¼ point was 9-3. Any further cuts are unlikely in the near future.
National Debt: $38.569 Trillion.

THIS WEEK:
Focus of the week: Jobs and Unemployment. The Jobs number is expected to drop from 64,000 (November) down to 55,000 (December). The U3 Unemployment number (there are six numbers) is expected to remain at 4.6%.
Calendar: ISM Manufacturing index (Mon); ISM Services index, Factory Orders, ADP Employment report (Wed); Trade Deficit (Thu); Housing Starts, Jobs, and Unemployment (Fri).
